Don't ever google burn pictures. Ever.

Layla went to daycare today and she did great.  Had fun, danced, didn't need meds until the very end of the day, and took a good nap.

By the time we got home, it was clear that she was well on her way to recovery by the level of pestering and irritating she was doing to her sister.  Oh my god.  It's painful to watch.  She is a passive aggressive menace.  Whenever Evie tries to grab something, Layla cuts her off and snatches it up.  She'll go up to Evie and mush her or use her body to push her.  We've discovered that Evie is terrified of balloons.  Guess what Layla loves to accidentally smash into Evie's head?  And she's sitting right in that limbo land between the incident and her being healed and/or my guilt being lessened, so it's tough to discipline her with any vigor.

After cleaning the burn and getting a good look at it, I thought that it would be a good idea to google some pictures of various burns to compare what Layla's looked like to see if we were looking at a skin graft.  Not ever, in a million years, should one google their worst fears.  Seriously.  Don't.

I'm no closer to having a clue and just secured months of prime footage for nightmares.

  2. mason does the EXACT same thing with the pushing his body up on riley to push him .....
or he drapes his arms around his neck (standing behind him) and tries to walk really fast and make riley try to keep up.
he also does the same thing with scaring him! riley's terrified of this cow flashlight and mason makes it a point to put it in his face and make it moooooooo.....

    they're little shitheads!!!!
